talking bout my cari have a rover 214 sli N reg, which i love and adore, i am in the process of doing a few changes to it, including tinting the windows, putting on a spoiler and have just put on 6 spoke rover alloys, i have also just paid for a new back box for it also, i am just waiting for my k & n air filter too arrive there is not much else left to do to it, apart from fitting a pair of new cams, and lowering the suspension.
This is my second rover, the other was a 214si, but the gear box was worn out and leaking oil onto the clutch, and when my partner was trying to changing it, the suspension mount bolt bracket, on the sub frame sheared off, as it was rotten, and as this ment a complete front end strip down to replace it, on two cars( 1 doner vehicle) it was sadly stripped for spares, and that is where my love affair with rovers started, and ironically the scrap yard was where we found the rover i have today. the car was in there because the head gasket was supposed to have been blown, i got it for £200 plus 10mths mot (bargain)
but there was nothing wrong with it, and it still drives fine today. (I LOVE ROVERS)
