Rover 25 Wing MirrorHi Everyone,
Some time back, some little oik came sreaming down the inside of my car
(whilst I was in a traffic queue) on his pushbike and snapped my
passenger wing-mirror off. He didn't even have the common decency to break any of his limbs as he bounced down the road afterwards either. Replaced the wing mirror, and for some reason kept the bits of the old one.
Now that car (Rover 25, Y-Reg, 2001) has been traded for an MG ZT. Upon clearing out the garage this evening I found a box containing the
old passenger wing-mirror from the Rover 25, and thought I’d offer it for
spares here before binning it. The only bits that broke were the mirror
glass (binned ages ago) and the cast (iron ?) swivel-mount that allows
it to fold flat against the car. The body-coloured front is missing
(used that bit), but the plastic casing is OK and the motor & wiring is
fine (at least, it was when removed – no reason to believe otherwise).
If anyone wants it they can have it for the price of postage. Let me
know if interested or it goes in the bin. The next bin day is 11th
August, so if you want it let me know before then.
